Thankfully, our current COVID-19 surge seems to not lead to increased hospitalizations. The number of patients being admitted to hospitals for COVID-19 is the lowest in 2 years.

Nonetheless, we continue to remain committed to the safety of our patients and our frontline workers.

We remain cautiously optimistic, and are following all guidelines and best practices.

COVID-19 & Your Surgery

There are currently no restrictions on elective surgeries.

In the immediate COVID-19 aftermath, surgical considerations include:

  • Postponing surgery if you suspect you might have had a recent COVID-19 infection.
  • Use of sterile location PPE in-hospital.
  • Use of surgical air-scrubbers (Aerobiotix).
